Ontario's auto reform took effect on July 1, 2026. Only medical, rehabilitation and attendant care benefits remain mandatory. Income replacement, non-earner, caregiver, housekeeping, death and funeral and several smaller benefits are now optional, and you choose them at purchase or renewal.
