How does it work?
Policy Purchase
Before traveling, purchase a travel insurance policy that suits their needs. This can be done through Instasure, travel agents, directly from insurance companies, or sometimes through credit card providers.
Coverage Selection
Travel insurance policies can include various types of coverage, such as trip cancellation and interruption, medical emergencies, baggage loss or delay, and flight accidents. Select the coverage that best fits your travel plans and potential risks.
Understanding the Policy
It's important to thoroughly understand what is covered, the limits of coverage, the deductible amounts, and any exclusions or conditions.
Travel Period
The insurance is valid for the duration of the trip as defined in the policy. Coverage begins from the departure date and ends upon return, or the end date specified in the policy.
Making a Claim
If an insured event occurs (like a medical emergency or trip cancellation), the traveler must contact the insurance provider to initiate a claim. This should be done as soon as possible according to the policy guidelines.
Documentation
The traveler will need to provide documentation to support their claim. This could include medical records, police reports, receipts, or proof of travel delays.
Claim Assessment

Resolution
